I'm going to start designing a new GoG website. I'm not happy with how much eye-candy the site currently has. It goes against my internal 'keep it simple, stupid' philosophy. So expect a few changes over the next month or so.

In order to encourage more coordinated activities, I've created a mailing list on the goldshire.com server. A new mailing list has been created so if you've been a member of GoG at any point and/or would be interested in grouping with us during events, please send an e-mail to honor at goldshire.com and ask to be added.

Where Has goldshire.com Been?

Being one of the few people who actually takes the time to read EULAs and Terms of Service legalese, I was presented with a dilemma in early August of this year. I was invited to participate within the Burning Crusade Alpha Test. One requirement for participation in this event is that you cannot be a guild leader who runs a website. This is probably due to the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that we are still under. People participating in the Alpha portion of the Burning Crusade testing are still under an NDA to not discuss events we saw during the Alpha. No NDA exists for the Closed Beta that is currently underway. Once I was able to confirm that the website could be reactivated, I did so.
